The Vision of Kids Day Out.

Kids Day Out (KDO) is a major event on the Central Coast, targeting young children and their families. It is a collaborative effort of a wide variety of organisations that are united in their concern for the health and welfare of our children.

Through the provision of information, and enhancement of interagency links, Kids Day Out is an annual event, designed to strengthen and develop functional family units and promote the long-term well being of children on the Central Coast.

Aims and Objectives

• Highlight the importance of parenting.
• Emphasis the significance of the early years of a child’s development.
• Promote the Central Coast as a child friendly community, caring for children.
• Promote child-friendly services/agencies available on the Central Coast to both families and other services/agencies
• Provide a family-focused information day
• Create an attractive, fun, affordable and accessible event for families from all social strata.
