How to get There

The very best way to come to Kid's Day Out this year is by public transport.

TRAIN AND BUSES

It is the easiest and best way to travel. The trains are running regularly and will provide the most relaxing way of coming to the venue.

When you come from the train there is a short walk to the Wyong Race Course. Families can walk from the station along to Howarth street to Wyong Race course.

There will be no hassle with parking or travelling long distances.

The trains from Gosford run at 8.10am, 8.43am, 9.11am, 9.35am, 10.10am, 10.35am, 11.10am, 11.35am, 12.10pm, 12.35pm, 1.10pm, 1.35pm, 2.10pm, 2.35pm.

The trains running from Newcastle are 8.32am, 9.22am, 10.34am, 11.22am, 12.32pm, 1.22pm, 12.32pm, 1.22pm, 2.34pm

Bus services will be provided by Red Bus. Routes include Bus 19 from Gosford    Station or from Bay Village and Bus number 25 or 26 from the Entrance.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

If you are travelling by car, it would be best to travel by the Old Pacific Highway to Wyong.

Visitors to KDO will be encouraged to take the Church Street entry , off the Old Pacific Highway that leads to River Road then Panonia Rd. Panonia Road then  goes under train bridge. The first on the left is the the  entry to Howarth Street and as you drive alongHowarth Street you will eventually come to the Race Course or you can park in the many streets around the area.

Taking this exit will elevate the traffic flow along the Old Pacific Highway.

The streets that have parking available include Ithome Street; Warner Ave; Bryon Street; Leppington Street and Marathon Street. See map.

From here families can park in the surrounding areas of the Wyong race Course. When parked families will be able to walk to the venue as all are in walking distance of the Wyong Race course
